Lynne Blaikie
Lynne was born in Scotland and educated in Edinburgh with art as a major subject. On finishing she school trained as a teacher. She moved to Cape Town in 1971 and started painting regularly in the 1980's, after completing a course in Technical Drawing and Interior Design. Lynne’s preference is to work in pastels and oils, and sketching in watercolours. She particularly enjoys working with the human form and working directly from life and nature.
