Carmen Brander
Carmen spent almost 30 years in the advertising industry, she now works from her studio in Muizenberg, Cape Town. Although she designs for a few select clients, painting has become her main occupation. She enjoys photography, dinner parties, red wine and writing, and has a fascination for the tourism and property industries. Her husband Garth is an events manager, so she gets roped into doing some rather odd things from time to time. She has two grown children, a daughter-in-law, three step-sons and a tortoise called Tom. She hopes to own a combi again one day...
