David Riding
Born in a remote part of Zimbawe, in 1953, David grew up close to his environment.
His work is inspired by his natural surroundings and explores the manipulation of the human form. Uniquely designed and constructed figures entwined in vibrant colours and dance amusingly before the viewer, gesturing towards their own interpretation.
David, having trained as a graphic designer, uses clean, bright colours which he associates with health and vitality.Each piece of work is carefully sketched out with preliminary drawings.
