“My aim is to capture a moment of the beauty of Creation that surrounds us on a daily basis. I take photographs of the sea, sky and landscapes, then use them as inspiration for my paintings. The aim is not to reproduce the photograph, but to convey the mood thereof. Thus the work develops freely, the brushmarks dictating the shape and form of the end result."
