Kim Rose

Kim Rose is inspired by natural light and it’s ability to transform something ordinary into the extraordinary. Her work centres on the abundant fauna and flora of Southern Africa. After changing her degree in 2002 from Fine Art to a Bachelor of Arts degree, Kim didn’t draw or paint until 2010 when she did a short illustration course at the Ruth Prowse School of Art. Since 2011 Kim has exhibited and sold her work in Betty’s Bay and Elgin. She was an exhibitor at the 2013 Botanical Biennale at Kirstenbosch.
