Ros Walters
Ros began painting from an early age, mostly watercolors and landscapes. She had formal training in fashion design and pattern making but by the mid 80's an unexpected career turn as a free lance textile designer took hold and flourished. She became well known and respected for her ability to draw flowers and especially roses. It was only in 1999 that she took up oils after moving to Cape Town. In the last 15 years she has developed a passion for figure painting in oils. She exhibits regularly at Kirstenbosch with SASA and has been awarded Fellow membership with the organization.
