Adela Friedmann

Adela Friedmann’s expressive non-figurative painting work fervently expresses her inner angst at survival in a time and place riddled with strife, contradictions and intolerance while simultaneously depicting the refreshing streams of hopefulness and chance that flow through it. Her main aim by manipulating colour form, shape and line is to bring the viewers closer to understanding the world and their role in it. She works in mixed media on paper, in oils, acrylics and pastels always incorporating intricate lines traveling across the surface that tell her story of joining thoughts and expressing relationships and interactions.
